In a video posted on Twitter on Saturday, American actress Sharon Stone sent a message of support to the Italian Red Cross, mobilized in response to the coronavirus pandemic which is severely affecting Italy.

"I see videos where you enter people's homes to transport the victims of the coronavirus. I see the heart that you put in your work". American actress Sharon Stone sent a message of support to the Italian Red Cross on Saturday against the coronavirus. "I know you are putting your lives in danger to carry out your mission," she added in a video posted to the Italian Red Cross Twitter account.

"My heart is with you"

"I just want to tell you how much I admire you, how much what you care about in my eyes (...) I see you do your work silently, efficiently, with so much dignity and attention", adds the star of Casino or Basic Instinct, clearly moved.

In 2018, the 62-year-old American actress received the Red Cross Merit Gold Medal in Rome as a testimony to "her humanitarian commitment".
