Chiba Prefecture has newly infected a new type of coronavirus in 11 men, including eight men in their teens and sixties, and three persons involved in welfare facilities for persons with disabilities in Higashi-sho, where outbreaks were confirmed. It was announced that was confirmed.

Newly confirmed infections were teenage male students living in Ichikawa, men in their 40s living in Urayasu, and men in their 50s living in Matsudo, working in the same workplace as men in their 50s. Two male college students in their twenties living in Inba-gun, men in their twenties living in Chosei-gun, self-employed men living in Minamiboso, and men in their 60s living in Inba-gun. There are 11 males in their 40s who are inhabitants of the welfare facility for persons with disabilities "Hokuso Nursery Garden", male employees in their 30s living in Katori-gun, and male employees in their 50s living in Ibaraki Prefecture.

According to Chiba Prefecture, among them, male students from Ichikawa City returned from New Zealand last month on 28th and got a fever of 38 degrees 5 minutes, so they went to a medical institution, and as a result of examination, infection was confirmed for 1 day about it. Now the fever has fallen and the symptoms have calmed down.

Two of the university students from Inba-gun participated in a kendo tournament held in Aichi prefecture on 27th of last month, and it has been confirmed that the participants of this tournament have also been infected in Aichi prefecture.

In addition, although three persons who entered the welfare facilities for the disabled were negative at the test performed at the end of last month, the symptoms were re-examined and the infection was confirmed.

In Chiba Prefecture, three other cases were confirmed on the 3rd in Chiba, Kashiwa, and Funabashi.
