At about 20:00 on April 1, a new 3km line of fire was generated in Hushan and spread down the mountain. According to the fire situation, the Sichuan Fire Rescue Corps emergency dispatched Liangshan, Zigong, Neijiang, Deyang, Ya'an, and Meishan fire rescue detachments to reinforce. 46 people from the Neijiang Fire Rescue Detachment, under the leadership of local rescue teams and the masses, searched for water sources and built a new line of fire prevention.

At 23:00, according to the development and change of the fire, Neijiang Fire rushed to the Bihai Grand Hotel in Erhai Lake to set up water gun and water cannon positions to stop the fire from spreading. At the same time, the remote water supply system, high-powered hand-pumped motor pumps, and pontoon pumps are used to fetch water from the seashore and provide uninterrupted water supply to the front. In addition, 35 people from Meishan Fire Protection were on duty at Xichang Railway Technical School's family area. Zigong Fire Protection established a separation zone along the road from the gas station to the Erhai Waterworks and set up a water gun position. Laoshan newly produced a 3km line of fire and spread down the mountain. The fire spread rapidly at the scene, the wind speed was high, and the smoke was pervasive. 26 people from Leshan Firefighting Vehicle 4 set up along the town of Tingtao, defending with all their strength.

Due to the rapid development of the fire, the line of fire spread again in the direction of Guangfu Temple, and the temple was threatened again. Chengdu Fire Protection quickly set up water gun positions, sprayed water in different directions, continuously injected water to increase the humidity of the vegetation, and coordinated local government departments to evacuate unrelated personnel. 208 firefighters and 38 fire trucks are deploying fortifications along the road between Tintao Town and Bai Li Hotel. At 0:50 in the morning on April 2, news came from the front of the fire field, saying that the fire in the mountainous area behind Erhai Boiling Yuzhuang was effectively controlled.
