[Explanation] On April 2, the Chongqing Municipal Government donated a batch of medical and epidemic prevention supplies to India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Armenia, Ecuador, and Colombia to support these countries in fighting the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

This batch of materials includes donation of 1000 sets of protective clothing, 1000 sets of isolation gowns, 5000 N95 medical protective masks to India; 100,000 disposable medical surgical masks to Pakistan; 100,000 disposable medical surgical masks to Vietnam; and Armenia Donated 50,000 medical protective masks and 10,000 pairs of medical examination gloves; donated 1,000 sets of protective clothing, 1000 sets of isolation gowns, 5000 N95 medical protective masks to Ecuador; donated 1000 sets of protective clothing, 1000 sets of isolation gowns, and 2000 copies to Colombia Nucleic acid detection kit, 20,000 disposable medical surgical masks, 5000 N95 medical protective masks.

The reporter saw at the donation site that the donated medical and anti-epidemic materials were packaged with various cheering slogans in Chinese and English. Among them, the materials donated to Colombia and Ecuador had the slogan “Wind and Rain on the Road”.

In addition to donating protective materials, Chongqing also sent sympathy letters to foreign sister cities, provided procurement channels for epidemic prevention materials, and held new video conferences on the prevention and control of new crown pneumonia epidemics with a number of countries to share experience in epidemic prevention and control.
