Soviet front-line writer Yuri Bondarev will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the chairman of the board of the Union of Writers of Russia Nikolai Ivanov.
"The farewell will take place on Thursday at the Central Design Bureau, Yuri Vasilyevich will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery," Ivanov said.
Bondarev died on March 29 at the age of 96 in Moscow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the writer’s family and friends.
