Overseas Japanese schools 460 teachers could not be assigned, 17:30 on April 1 due to restrictions on immigration in each country

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection and the restrictions on immigration in each country, more than 460 teachers, who were scheduled to be dispatched to Japanese schools overseas this month, were unable to relocate. Schools are busy responding.

Among them, the elementary school of a Japanese school in Singapore has been banned by foreigners from entering Japan, and as a result 19 teachers cannot be transferred.

The school will begin on the 13th of this month, but for the time being, the remaining 27 teachers, excluding the principal and principal, will be responsible for approximately 850 children. For this reason, 39 classes have been reorganized to 27, the same as the number of teachers, and the principal and principal are also responsible for lessons as much as possible.

At the first day of the new year's meeting, the faculty members talked to each other to communicate and confirmed that they would respond smoothly.

According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, 484 teachers will be dispatched to 116 Japanese schools and supplementary schools in 53 countries and regions this year, but the spread of the new coronavirus has spread. Due to restrictions on immigration in each country, more than 90% of the 465 people are not expected to be assigned as of the day.

Principal Yuko Tsutsumi of Elementary School Changi School in Singapore said, "Our mission is to provide a place for children to learn, so we all want to share our wisdom and survive."
