Reverse. The mayor of Sanary-sur-Mer, in the Var, adopted a new decree on Tuesday, not to force the inhabitants more during this period of confinement, but to cancel the first three adopted last week.

Fernand Berhnard had first forced the population to buy more than one baguette in bakeries, to avoid going out. Outings he then prohibited more than 10 meters from his home on Monday morning. And this in order to ensure "health security, quite simply", he confided to 20 Minutes .

"I will resume one the next day"

But these drastic measures made talk of Sanary-sur-Mer throughout France. To the point that the prefect of the Var, Jean-Luc Vidaine, "considered it essential that a judge be called upon to rule on the subject". Fernand Berhnard did not seem worried and announced at 20 Minutes that "if the justice breaks the order, [he] will resume [t] one the next day".
