German researchers have proposed granting “immunity documents” to employees who were previously infected with the Covid-19 virus, which means that they have acquired immunity against it now, and this represents an attempt to return these people to their work and accelerate the return of society’s conditions back to their former times.

The Guardian newspaper, according to the Dubai Future Foundation’s Future Observatory, said that the Public Health Department in Germany and a number of research groups and hospitals are planning to conduct a massive study that includes examining the blood samples of 100,000 people in search of antibodies to the Covid virus-19 starting From mid-April.

The presence of antibodies in the blood indicates the body's success in countering the virus, and that this person was once a carrier of the virus. This test differs from the test currently being done to find out whether or not the person was infected with the virus at the time the test was taken.

The idea suggested by the German researchers is to give people who carry these antibodies an immunity document that allows them to return to their work. And when herd immunity is achieved in some areas, the government can ease restrictions in larger areas of the country.

And before governments start issuing these documents, they must answer a key question about the fact that a person acquired long-term immunity after defeating the virus, as the newspaper stated that infection with the SARS virus did not give the person infected with only one year of immunity.
