On March 30, the NTV television premiered the series Three Captains. The plot focuses on the adventures of bomb technicians Viktor Seregin (Maxim Shchegolev), Alexei Ternovsky (Gleb Gervassiev) and Alexander Pekhota (Ivan Kokorin), who went through hot spots and still come to the rescue of those who are in trouble. 10 episodes will be aired.

For the sake of a quiet family life, Seregin decides to engage in teaching, but it is at this moment that it turns out that it will not be possible to realize the plans: the hero is summoned by a dangerous criminal in a peculiar duel.

Many years ago, a colleague of three officers named Legostaev (Nikolai Kozak) joined the side of the terrorists. He considers Seryogin guilty of the fact that his wife died, and his daughter was actually left without parents. After all, Legostaev himself was sentenced to life imprisonment - but he escaped from under the convoy and developed a plan for revenge.

Such a villain is very reminiscent of Sherlock Moriarty with Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Scott. His very appearance is accompanied by a message to the protagonist: "Did you miss me, Earring?" Only unlike the British criminal, Legostaev leaves a message on the dial of the dummy bomb.

Two antiheroes have many common features: both have a sophisticated mind, leave opponents a few steps behind and invariably elude justice.

Creative producer of the series Stepan Korshunov explained that such references cannot be considered borrowings, but their semantic load should be taken into account.

“Such roll calls are rather a tribute to our colleagues. They allow you to create some poetry around the film. After all, films are made up not only of the plot or of the shots, but of a thousand different little things, ”he said in an interview with RT.

The character of Nikolai Kozak turned out to be very bright. Legostaev approaches his literally subversive activities with a solid share of black humor, which makes him even more sinister. Therefore, from the first minutes in the series, an atmosphere of suspense is established.

The performer of the role of Alexei Ternovsky Gleb Gervassiev told RT that the situation on the set coincided with the plot of the film, due to which it was possible to create a suitable mood.

“Sometimes there were such scenes when maximum stress appeared, and then an“ explosion ”occurred. There is a scene with a car blasting - all the way to it somehow exacerbated the tension ... Everyone approached these issues very responsibly, there was no gouging, ”the artist noted. - Learned about the bomb - learned about the scene. They came to her, somehow they worked around her, started working with her and either shot a scene, or there was an “explosion” - and a double was needed. ”

As for the hero Maxim Shchegolev, Seryogin is a classic positive character. Despite the danger of the situation, he calmly bites an apple, and modestly announces his profession: "I am not a hero, this is the job."

The actor noted that, while working on the image of the hero, he relied on the experience of friends who served in the army and other law enforcement agencies. Gleb Gervassiev told RT that of all the materials that he studied during the preparation, he was most impressed with the footage of the chronicle, which captures the work of the special services.

“There was a bomb under the hotel, and it was possible to shoot it down from the cannon with a robot. But the bomb engineer with the brigade said: “No, I will go myself and I will mine myself” - and there’s a terrible chronicle. In general, the device worked and he died, unfortunately, ”the actor recalls.

“These, of course, are very determined people and desperate ... It seems to me that the most important thing is what kind of people work there,” Gervassiev concluded.

In the film dedicated to the work of explosive engineers, of course, there were some special effects. Stepan Korshunov emphasized that they managed to create a high-quality picture by combining computer graphics with the work of pyrotechnics.

The shooting took place in Yaroslavl, where the events of the series unfold. Korshunov emphasized that in the capital or other large city, the described events would unfold differently.
