While French schools are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, initiatives to help students stay the course are increasing. The online platform France Numérique University (FUN) has decided to give access to its archived courses to the greatest number, as part of the initiative called "Learning Nation" and launched by the Ministry of National Education.

470 Mooc (Massive Open Online Course) will be gradually reopened by the structure, Presse-Citron reports Sunday, March 29. The aim of the initiative is to provide a broad educational base for pupils or teachers but also for anyone wishing to take advantage of this period of confinement to develop their knowledge in a field.

All kinds of themes

Economics, IT, languages, history, science and many other themes will therefore be available online and free access on the France Université Numérique platform, reports Presse-Citron . Among all the courses offered, some will only be available on video or by reading documents, without any interaction.

Others will, however, be done in an "animated session", which means that students will be able to benefit from educational support as well as a follow-up certificate or a certificate, if they validate the course. They will also be able to exchange with each other on the subjects covered.
