Male in his 80s dies in Sagamihara
Sagamihara City announced that a man in his 80s who had been hospitalized with the new coronavirus had died on the 29th.
The deceased man had been hospitalized in a city hospital for another illness, but a series of infected people at the hospital had been tested and found to be infected last month.
After that, he was transferred to another medical institution in the prefecture and was receiving treatment.
Sagamihara also revealed that women in their twenties living in the city were found to be newly infected with the new coronavirus.
