At the Mauguio nursing home in Hérault, the situation is getting worse. A doctor hired for "a medical presence 7 days a week"

From the start, continues the ARS, “adequate containment and protection measures have been implemented within the establishment. The French Red Cross is very mobilized in support of the Ehpad team, which it manages. Emergency measures have been implemented by the ARS, in particular to organize the delivery of 10,000 protective masks as well as equipment for the recovery of healthcare activity waste with infectious risks. "

In this establishment, a team from the national health reserve was also mobilized to participate in the care of residents. The nursing home also hired an additional doctor "in order to benefit from a medical presence 7 days a week".

In addition, concerning information for the families of residents, the ARS indicates that "a general situation point is regularly sent to these families by email and the management of the establishment responds personally to individual requests".
