Scotland's chief physician Catherine Calderwood has called on husbands not to think about childbearing during this period, when the world is witnessing an outbreak of the Corona epidemic that kills thousands of people every day.

"It is preferable not to think about pregnancy and childbirth now, so that medical personnel can focus on facing the outbreak of the new Corona virus, and we must think in time for that," Calderwood said during a press conference with Scottish Prime Minister Nicolas Storgen.

The British newspaper "Mirror" quoted the doctor as saying: "There is a great pressure on emergency services in the country to treat patients with the virus, and it is necessary for couples to provide a healthy environment for newborn children, which is difficult at the present time, in light of the spread of the epidemic."
