The taste of the week by Yves Camdeborde is devoted this week to the first strawberries of the season. For this occasion, he offers you a simple recipe to enjoy them with ease.

For 4 people

Utensils:

1 small knife

1 salad bowl

1 pepper mill

Ingredients:

500 gr of Carpentras strawberries

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon lime juice

10 basil leaves

2 rounds of pepper mill

Production :

Wash and peel the strawberries carefully. Cut them in 6 vertically.

Place them in the bowl and add the honey, lemon, olive oil and put in the fridge for an hour.

Just before serving, gently mix your strawberries and add the basil (whole) and the pepper mill.
