The series tells the story of the appearance in the Middle East of a mysterious character with prophetic accents (played by Belgian actor Mehdi Dehbi), on which a CIA agent (incarnated Tomer Sisley) will be responsible for leading investigation.
Broadcast since January 1 on Netflix, the first season of Messiah had caused scandal even before it went online due to its scenario judged by some blasphemous (a petition accusing him of "evil and anti-Islamic propaganda" had even been launched to demand its withdrawal).
