This document will therefore give "means, plans, patterns" to companies interested in the manufacture of masks. However, assures Olivier Peyrat, "all manufacturers are in start-up blocks".

"Colossal" and fast work "
According to the boss of AFNOR, the rapid online publication of this reference document results from "colossal work". "We have started work with 150 experts from different backgrounds," he said at the microphone of Raphaëlle Duchemin. Unprecedented speed, motivated by the urgency of the situation. "We preferred to have something readily available," says Olivier Peyrat, believing that the fight against the coronavirus is "a national cause".
