The US space agency «NASA» announced today, Friday, that the probe, the "perseverance" that the agency will send to Mars, will carry more than 10.9 million names on the Red Planet.

The agency said in a statement yesterday, that after it called on those wishing all over the world to submit their names for the independence of the spacecraft «Presenceance» received 10,932,295 responses.

The names were drawn by an electron beam on three silicon fingers the size of a fingernail, and then they were attached to an aluminum plate on the spacecraft last week.

The probe is scheduled to be launched from the US Air Force's Cape Canaveral station in Florida, in July or August, to land on the surface of the Red Planet in February next year, unless the emerging Corona Virus (Covid 19) pandemic that is currently sweeping the world the mission.

The probe, which weighs more than 1,000 kilograms, is designed to search for signs of past microbial life on the Red Planet, and will study the climate and geology of Mars.
