Kyoto City has announced that two women living in the city, both in their 20s and in their 70s, have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.

Among them, a woman in her 20s visited the Netherlands on a business trip from 6th of this month and returned to Japan on 16th, but felt a sore throat on 18th and confirmed positive on 26th.

A woman in her 50s, a colleague who was traveling with the woman, was confirmed infected on 21st of this month.

In addition, a woman in her 70s had a fever on the 13th of this month, and when she visited a medical institution in the city, her symptoms of pneumonia were confirmed, and positive results were confirmed on the 26th.

The route of transmission is unknown, and the city is investigating behavior history.
