An internal FIFA document presented to a working group dealing with the Corona Virus crisis said that existing contracts for players and coaches should be extended until the end of the local deferred seasons.

The classified document - seen by Reuters - also recommended allowing changes in the transfer times according to the dates of the new season, which would hit the summer transfer season and lead to the collapse of some deals that clubs seek to conclude.

The document urged clubs and players to cooperate to find solutions to pay wages during downtime.

The successive postponements of the European leagues and most of the world leagues have caused great confusion in the season, which may extend to record time, with some unions insisting on completing the season.

The English Football Association suspended the Premier League matches until April 30, and the clubs will meet next week to discuss the next steps, in light of the desire to complete the season even if without an audience, to reduce the clubs financial losses in the event that the rest of the matches are canceled.
