After several localities in Ile-de-France and the principality of Monaco, since Monday, the city of Nice is also preparing to dispatch disinfection agents to fight against the spread of the coronavirus.

"The cleanliness teams of the metropolis [Nice Côte d'Azur] will ensure the disinfection of public spaces located in front of priority establishments the most frequented sites in Nice: hospitals, pharmacies, Ehpads, shopping centers", said the community. All urban furniture in these spaces (ramp, benches, baskets) will also be cleaned.

The operation, scheduled to begin no earlier than Thursday morning, will be carried out three days a week before the arrival of the public, by spraying disinfectant. "The product acts for ten minutes and is then rinsed with plenty of water," it said.
