Documents from the Xinyang City Epidemic Prevention Headquarters showed that on March 23, there were eight hot passengers on the MU9890 flight from Kunming to Qingdao, which stopped at Minggang, and dropped off at Minggang Airport at 19:15 in accordance with relevant epidemic prevention regulations.
Regarding the disposal of this matter, Zhang Quansheng introduced that according to the provisions of the "Emergency Response Law of the People's Republic of China", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" and "Regulations on Public Health Emergencies", after receiving notification from relevant parties, Xinyang City Quickly launched the emergency plan, organized 8 ambulances to receive 8 fever passengers from the airport to receive a fever clinic in Pingqiao District, and immediately carried out medical treatment measures such as nucleic acid testing in accordance with epidemic prevention and diagnosis and treatment procedures. At present, the nucleic acid tests of 8 fever passengers are negative. No abnormalities were found in blood routine tests. At present, body temperature has returned to normal. Zhang Quansheng said that in the next step, Xinyang City will continue to conduct further isolation and medical observation of eight fever passengers in accordance with regulations.
Zhang Quansheng revealed that of the 40 passengers arriving on the same plane, 24 people in Xinyang have implemented isolation control measures overnight, and 16 people are not in Xinyang. Of these, 7 have been contacted and telephoned to temporarily isolate their homes; the other 9 have been seized by the police. The authorities issued a co-inspection notice to the location of their household registration that night, informing passengers that the current location should strengthen monitoring and control.
