Automotive consumption is the largest commodity category in Beijing's commodity consumption. In 2019, the retail sales of automotive goods, which accounted for 13.8% of the company's zero share, fell by 8.0% year-on-year (the national growth rate was -0.8% over the same period). Zero growth rate was 1.3 percentage points. In response to the impact of the sudden epidemic on the consumer market, Beijing is studying the formulation of policies and measures to promote automobile consumption. The first is to launch a high-emission old car elimination and update policy as soon as possible, release some of the old car inventory indicators, and set subsidy incentives and car purchase timelines to convert them into new car consumption contributions during the year. Secondly, for the families of new energy vehicles in the city who have no cars and are waiting in the waiting range, in the first half of the year, they will release no less than 100,000 car purchase indicators to promote the purchase of cars by families who just need them. There will be about 20 billion yuan of new agencies added. The third is to research and launch special small passenger vehicle number plates that are restricted to travel in the suburbs, which are not included in the city's motor vehicle ownership regulation indicators, while effectively meeting the needs of suburban families to purchase and travel, while orderly guiding the non-capital function dissolution and regional collaborative development.
