Emirates Cares announced the opening of volunteering for doctors in the “Volunteer Health Health Program” to participate in diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive volunteering tasks for Emirates doctors for telemedicine in their mobile clinics and mobile hospitals, locally and internationally, in a first-of-its-kind initiative in the field of medical volunteering Specialist, based on the social responsibility of the non-profit sectors to support governmental and private efforts, to enhance solidarity and cooperation to reach a healthy society through the adoption of initiatives that enhance efforts to combat the Corona virus.

The Telemedicine Initiative comes as a complement to the specialized medical voluntary initiatives of UAE doctors in various countries of the world, within the framework of the "Zayed Giving" initiative, which in the past 20 years, since its foundation, has been able to adopt unprecedented innovative initiatives that have contributed to finding realistic solutions to health problems afflicting societies.

The CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative, Dr. Adel Al-Shamiri, emphasized that the “Volunteer Health Heroes” program aims to consolidate the culture of giving and volunteering in medical cadres, and provide opportunities for various specialties and administrative, medical and technical cadres to participate in volunteer and humanitarian initiatives for UAE doctors, to provide the best diagnostic and treatment services The surgical and preventive activities of different groups of society, using the technology of telemedicine, under the supervision of the Emirates Program for Social and Specialized Volunteering, the National Training Foundation, the Emirates Ambassadors Volunteer Program and the Ready Academy.

He said that «Emirates Cares» will attract doctors to volunteer in the volunteer telemedicine initiative by providing a motivational package for volunteer health heroes to attract them in the specialized volunteer work in the volunteer telemedicine program, the most prominent of which are free specialized training grants, and grants to adopt their ideas and turn them into Realistic volunteer projects and grants to secure their free participation in scientific forums and international conferences in the future, to sharpen their skills and raise the level of their scientific and practical performance, in addition to honoring the distinguished Emirati physician award in appreciation of their efforts in serving communities locally and internationally.
