Jérémy Parayre, editor-in-chief of "Télé 7 Jours", was Tuesday the guest of Europe 1, on the occasion of the magazine's 60th anniversary. For the anniversary issue, four personalities - four women - are on the front page: Dorothée, Évelyne Dhéliat, Ingrid Chauvin and Jenifer.

INTERVIEW

On March 26, 1960, the first Télé 7 jours appeared , with actress Marie-Josée Nat on the cover. Télé 7 jours celebrates its 60th birthday on Tuesday. Jérémy Parayre, editor-in-chief of the magazine, was on Tuesday on Europe 1 to present the "A" birthday which honors four women, Dorothée ("idol of the young"), Evelyne Dhéliat ("queen of the weather"), Ingrid Chauvin ("star of the series" and Jenifer ("icon of a generation"). "We chose them because they were representative of several generations of television and several different universes," specifies the editor. " Youth, series, weather, TV hooks and entertainment ... "

Jenifer, absolute record for "Unes"

What personalities from TF1? "There are others in the magazine, Michel Drucker, Michel Cymès", assures Jérémy Parayre, "but we judged that these four were the most representative of what we wanted to say in this anniversary issue". It's even the 50th cover for Jenifer. "It sells well, it is the absolute record" before Johnny, says the editor. "We make fewer men on the cover, but sales can be very good for men, just as sales can be less good with female personalities," says Jérémy Parayre.

So how was the choice of personalities interviewed for these 60 years made? Longevity on television played: Evelyne Dhéliat first appeared on the issue of Télé 7 Jours on July 26, 1969, Michel Drucker in January 1968… "We would have loved to have done Claire CHazal for the info, but we finally chose Jean-Pierre Pernault who is still on the air ", explains for example Jérémy Parayre.

Impact of the coronavirus

With containment and coronavirus, the magazine must also adapt. This anniversary issue was completed the previous week, but the teams must be very vigilant in the face of the programming and disruption of the programs of the television channels. "We are even more reactive to what is happening. We are careful. There are escapade or travel subjects that we have removed, confinement obliges", and the sports programs are not displayed. "Obviously, this changes the way of working, since we no longer see each other physically, and we are very vigilant about deprogramming," explains the editor.
