French partner Cering Group said that two international fashion houses, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga, will start preparing face masks to overcome any deficiency during the crisis related to the spread of Corona virus.
The dwindling inventory of protective gear across France has caused anger among doctors and prompted the police to threaten to stop working, the same complaints that have been repeated in Spain and Italy.
Paris-based Cering, which also owns the Italian brand Jayyusi, said Saint Laurent and Balenciaga would start manufacturing masks at their factories once formal approval of procedures and materials for manufacturing were obtained.
Cairng said, it will also provide the French health sector three million medical masks intended to be purchased and imported from China, noting that Jayyusi will also produce and provide as a donation of 1.1 million muzzles and 55,000 medical jackets to Italy.
