A man and a woman were arrested and placed in police custody on Saturday, suspected of having threatened and outraged gendarmes, in Lézignan-Corbières, in Aude, learned 20 Minutes from the gendarmerie services.

The two individuals, aged about thirty, had been fined by the police, accused of being on a street in the town without the necessary certificate to move, in the middle of confinement linked to the Covid-19.

The tone would have risen, and threats would have flared, when the gendarmes had invited them to return to their homes. After being heard, the two suspects were released. They will have to explain themselves in June before the criminal court.
