  • The Tolosa Indians, a group of TFC supporters, have launched an online kitty for carers at the CHU.
  • The idea is to buy something to supply break rooms with sweets and snacks.
  • A first load of pallets has already arrived safely.

While they no longer know where to turn, it would no longer be missing that the nursing staff of the Toulouse University Hospital spend their rare moments of pause stamping their feet in front of an automatic distributor to replenish their energy. But it won't happen, or more, thanks to the mobilization of the Tolosa Indians.

The group of supporters of the TFC, whose associative life is necessarily "neutralized" due to confinement, decided to invest in another field, that of the fight against the new coronavirus, and to play "the match of the year ”.

That's it ! The first order has been delivered. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who overlooked the prize pool.
We continue to participate and share to ensure that other orders of this type can follow.

"Coffee, cakes, fruit juices, we decided to help those on the front line facing the epidemic," explains Alexandre Roux, president of the Indians, to 20 Minutes . The prize pool was launched online on March 19. From small to large donations, she has already gathered in a much larger circle than that of the supporters of the Violets, more than 5,000 euros.

And, above all, a large load of pallets of candy has already arrived safely. "We placed an order for 2,000 euros with a shopping center in the city center which was responsible for delivering the goods to the CHU, in compliance with the confinement rules," continues Alexandre Roux.

Private thanks and messages on social networks show that this refueling was appreciated at its fair value in the break rooms of the CHU. Other orders and other deliveries will follow. The Indians know that the game will last "several weeks" and are preparing to ensure regular deliveries.
