Saitama Prefecture has confirmed that a new coronavirus infection has been confirmed and that a patient living in the prefecture who had been treated died on the 22nd. It is the first time that a new coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Saitama prefecture.
Saitama Prefecture states that there was "underlying disease" for patients who died, but did not disclose their gender or age.
