At the Kageno Elementary School in Shimanto Town, where 18 children are in school, Kazuoka Okayama, a sixth grader, graduated.

The school decided to hold a graduation ceremony in the schoolyard, avoiding a poorly ventilated gymnasium, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus and to send it out to as many people as possible.

Approximately 60 people from the local community gathered in the schoolyard, in addition to junior students, and Mr. Okayama received his diploma under the blue sky.
