Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, has announced that it has been confirmed that three men in their forties and four women in their eighties, all living in the city, have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Of these, two men in their 40s and a woman in their 80s are both family members living with people who have been infected so far.
The rest of the men in their 40s had symptoms such as fever after returning from France this month.
According to the city, all four have stable symptoms.
With this, 49 people have been infected with the new coronavirus announced in Saitama Prefecture.
