According to the website of Shaanxi Provincial Health and Health Commission, from March 20 to 8:00 on March 21, 2020, Shaanxi will have one new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia imported from abroad (UK); there is no new disease in Shaanxi. The number of confirmed cases was increased, 0 new suspected cases were added locally, and 2 were cured and discharged.

Overseas imported cases, Xu Moumou, male, 19 years old, Chinese nationality. On March 17, the patient took a taxi to the airport in London, UK. He took flight SQ305 at 8:10 local time, arrived in Singapore at 6 on March 18, transferred to flight SQ850 at 7:00, and arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport at 12:10. After taking the New Coronavirus nucleic acid sample at 18:00 that night, he took flight CZ3215 at 20:35 and arrived at Xi'an Xianyang Airport at 23:20. During the flight, the patient wore N95 mask and gloves, and the body temperature was normal at multiple monitoring points. At 2:00 am on March 19th, the patient was transferred to the centralized isolation point in Beilin District for observation. At 1 am on March 20th, after receiving a phone call from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to notify the positive result of the nucleic acid test, the patient reported the result to the epidemic prevention and control headquarters in Beilin District and was then transferred to Shaanxi Infectious Disease Hospital (Xi'an Eighth Hospital) Isolation treatment. On March 20th, the Shaanxi Provincial Center for Disease Control and Xi'an Disease Control Center tested positive for nucleic acids. The Shaanxi Provincial Infectious Diseases Hospital (Xi'an No. 8 Hospital) combined clinical symptoms, blood tests, imaging tests and expert consultation results to diagnose. Confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia. Close contacts of patients are under investigation. Case related information has been notified to Guangdong Province.

As of 8:00 on March 21, 2020, Shaanxi had reported a total of 248 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (239 were cured and discharged, 3 died), of which 3 were imported overseas. There are 0 suspected cases in the province. There were 114 new close contacts in the province (69 were close contacts of imported cases abroad, and 45 were investigated by other provinces), and 349 are currently isolated.
