I am in China and I am in Nanjing. I also pay close attention to Japan ’s epidemic information reports every day. I am particularly anxious to watch because the number of infected people is increasing every day, but there are still many people (Japanese people) who do n’t wear masks on the subway. I (think) there is a crisis. Sense, so did this video.

[Explanation] In the production process, Takeuchi and the production team insisted not to add any commentary dubbing or background music, and use simple lens language to show the facts.

It usually takes at least two or three weeks for us to make a documentary, but this time it only took three days. It took only three days to plan, shoot, edit, and subtitle. The focus is on the life around us. We don't have the feeling to go for the filming, it is just the life around us. Therefore, I feel that this is true.

[Explanation] Takeuchi has his own knowledge and understanding of the word "real".

The more realistic the better, there is no need to guide a certain direction. In this "Nanjing Anti-epidemic Scene" video, I don't want to guide a certain direction. It is just a reference, which is how the audience feels after reading it. Their audience (to comment), I just give them (the audience) the real situation. I do n’t have a tripod (use), neither a rocker or track (camera equipment), just a follow-up shot. This is a real way of shooting that Japanese people prefer. If you want to swing, there is no real sense.

[Explanation] In front of the camera, Takeuchi Ryo speaks fluent Chinese to reporters and smiles heartily from time to time. For several weeks, Takeuchi has received at least four or five media interview requests every day. Ryotake Takeuchi, who has been in documentary work for nearly 20 years, told reporters that in 2013, he and his wife came to China from Japan and settled in Nanjing. The couple started a business together and worked on short documentary creation. They hope that through the documentary, the cultures of the two countries can be better exchanged.
