Indo-Pacific: is the concept sustainable?

The Indo-Pacific was an idea launched by the Japanese Prime Minister in 2007, to which New Delhi, Washington, Canberra and Paris joined, followed by Indonesia and ASEAN.

The Indo-Pacific knows a wide variety of approaches, depending on the actors, in the absence of consensus on its politico-strategic scope or even its geographic contours. The confrontational approach of the USA worries the countries of the region. The Indo-Pacific doctrine: between Sino-American rivalry and the desire to create a free and open space. What are the advantages for the countries of the region? What level of acceptance of the concept? Is the Indo-Pacific concept sustainable?
