It was an announcement by Emmanuel Macron on Monday evening. A field hospital will see the light of day in Mulhouse. Preparatory work for its installation began Thursday with the routing of grids in the parking lot of the civilian hospital Emile Muller.

"The installation work of the military hospital announced by the President of the Republic has started" with the support of the city of Mulhouse, it was confirmed by sources close to the file.

The Emile Muller civilian hospital, like those in the Haut-Rhin, has been particularly affected since the start of the coronavirus epidemic. The new field hospital is expected to accommodate an additional 30 resuscitation beds.
