I am on medical treatment containing ibuprofen. Should I stop it preventively?

Treatment with ibuprofen remains quite rare for long-term treatments. However, if you have a corticosteroid treatment for asthmatics, or aspirin for people who have had a stroke or heart attack, it is imperative not to stop treatment without the consent of your doctor.
