Beijing News (Reporter Zhou Yi) With the spring blossoming, the number of citizens visiting the park has gradually increased. The reporter was informed on March 19 that in order to ensure the physical safety of tourists, the Beijing Botanical Garden has implemented current flow control measures and cancelled the 32nd Beijing Peach Blossom Festival.

It is understood that during the epidemic prevention and control period, the Beijing Botanical Garden has remained open, and the number of tourists received has always remained low. In order to reduce the risk of aggregation, the Beijing Botanical Garden will implement current flow control measures to cancel the 32nd Peach Blossom Festival in 2020. The closed exhibition rooms, scenic spots and entertainment projects will remain closed. The scenic spots of Cherry Valley and Lake District do not increase the spray and overlap water landscape. Places such as Sugen Garden, Jixiu Garden, Lake District, Huaxi and other easily-gathered areas shall be closed.

The key areas of the park are to take control measures to avoid crowds of passengers in the square of the gate area, and promote and guide tourists to use the bus card to enter the park quickly. At the same time, according to the passenger flow in the park, some areas that are easy to gather tourists will be temporarily closed, one-way tours and other measures. When the number of visitors to the park is close to 30% of the instantaneous load during the same period of the previous year, the park management department will timely initiate flow restriction measures, suspend visitors to the park, and jointly control the order inside and outside the park.

The public is advised by the park visitors to protect themselves during the park, not to gather, not to gather, wear masks, walk more, stay less, to prevent all group activities during the epidemic, and to maintain a safe distance of more than 1.5 meters from other tourists. At the same time, the Beijing Botanical Garden is a national forest fire prevention zone. Before and after the Qingming period, the forest fire risk was high, and any wild fire was resolutely eliminated. The entire park was smoke-free.
