The World Health Organization has announced that about 11,000 new infections were recorded in the last 24 hours worldwide, with 343 deaths, according to Al Arabiya.

The organization said in a statement: "10982 new cases of coronavirus were emerging worldwide in the past 24 hours," and therefore the total number of infected people around the world reached 517,153 people, and the total number of deaths reached 5375.

In Europe, the virus is still expanding, recording more infections, especially in Italy, France and Spain.

France is heading to isolate two provinces completely in the country because of the virus, noting that 127 people have died so far.

Earlier, the Minister of Health, Olivier Ferrand, announced that the death toll from the Corona epidemic in the country had risen to 120 deaths and 5,400 injuries since January.

In Spain, yesterday, two thousand injuries were recorded, and about a hundred deaths in only 24 hours.

While Italy counted 368 new deaths within 24 hours, taking the toll to 1809 in this most affected country in Europe, according to the Civil Defense toll.
