Tramway in Bordeaux -

No more than one tram and very few buses are operating in the Bordeaux area this Sunday morning. Thirty drivers of the TBM network have exercised their right of withdrawal due to a suspected case of coronavirus on one of their colleagues. The driver said she had tested positive for the virus, but management has not had official confirmation for the moment, according to information from 20 Minutes. These drivers request measures to disinfect the trains and buses.

This Saturday, the Regional Health Agency of New Aquitaine announced the presence of 18 new cases, which brings to 133 the number of confirmed cases in the region since the start of the epidemic.

For the latter, the service had to be restricted with non-circulating lines, others with reduced frequencies.

Due to the sanitary measures linked to Covid-19, the transport offer of the Tbm network is adapted, on March 16 and 17 circulation of the #TBMTram and #TBMBus network only from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm with reduced frequency. Find the details on: https://t.co/QYgkG8lWmU pic.twitter.com/j6SHFOaY06

Transport tickets had to be purchased from TBM dealers, distributors on the network or by downloading the "Witick" application. The directives are still current pending to know if the drivers maintain their right of withdrawal this Monday.
