Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Inc. has revealed that employees of Sapporo Mitsukoshi have been infected with the new coronavirus. Accordingly, on the 15th, it has been decided that "Sapporo Mitsukoshi" and the group "Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store" will be temporarily closed for the entire building.

According to Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings, it was discovered on the 14th that one employee of "Sapporo Mitsukoshi" in Sapporo was infected with the new coronavirus.

The employee had been working on sales, but had not worked since 6th of this month, wearing a mask and disinfecting alcohol during work.

He also said that he has not traveled abroad recently and that no employees have been identified as close contacts at this time.

To prevent the spread of the infection, the company decided to temporarily close the two stores, Sapporo Mitsukoshi and Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store, on the 15th, focusing on the floors where employees who were confirmed infected were working. I'm going to do the disinfection.

Both stores are scheduled to resume business on the 16th.
