The mosques of Jordan began adding the phrase: "Pray in your homes" twice, once the call to prayer was completed, until further notice.

This comes in implementation of a circular issued on Saturday evening, by the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, stopping the prayer, including Friday prayers, in all mosques of the Kingdom, and the obligation to raise the call to prayer for the five daily prayers at the time, and adding "pray in your homes" after each ears twice.

The Minister of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh confirmed that the decision also includes Friday sermon and Friday prayers, so that every afternoon prayer will be performed at his home, indicating that a unified Friday sermon will be broadcast on TV stations, according to the Jordanian "constitution".

This step comes within the precautionary measures taken by Jordan to tackle the Corona virus and prevent the spread of the epidemic that struck most of the world.
