Their daughter wants to help her parents after an unusual accident. On February 20, Daniel, 73, and his partner embedded their car in their house in Souillac, in the Lot.

As the insurance did not cover the damage caused by the couple on her own house, her daughter launched a kitty on CotizUp to finance the work, which amounted to 7,000 euros.

Panic and confusion

Because it was an unfortunate combination of circumstances that led the two elderly people to finish their race in the middle of their house. As Daniel parks his car outside his house and goes down to open the gate, his partner tells him that she is not feeling well. Panicked, he forgot to put the handbrake. Seeing the vehicle moving alone, he quickly climbs back into the car and presses the accelerator, instead of the brake.

Despite the impressive damage to the house, the couple were only slightly injured. But does not have the means to finance repairs. Their daughter therefore launched this kitty online, called “A solid roof for grandpa”. The association Projet Insertion Emploi (Apie46), has made a gesture to lower the amount of the work a little and will take care of the repairs.
