The coronavirus also impacts the organization of television channels, such as TF1. Denis Brogniart, historical presenter of the channel, was on Europe 1 Friday at the microphone of Philippe Vandel in Culture Médias.

INTERVIEW

As the human toll of the coronavirus pandemic grows heavier every day, the whole of society has to adapt and television channels are not immune to the restrictions. TF1, for example, has several big projects "on stand-by", admits Denis Brogniart. The star presenter of Koh-Lanta was the guest of Philippe Vandel, Friday, in Culture Media on Europe 1.

The future of Ninja Warrior , a program in which competitors compete on an obstacle course, is now written in dotted lines. Filming was to start in the coming weeks. However, explains Denis Brogniart, "a big project such as Ninja Warrior is in the expectation because the shooting takes place in Cannes, in public and outside".

The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco uncertain

Another big TF1 project threatened by the coronavirus, the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix. The channel has the broadcasting rights for four Grand Prix in the year, the majority of the rights having been acquired by Canal +. The race takes place, historically, in May, "which is relatively far". "Will we be out of this health crisis anyway?" Wonders Denis Brogniart. Answer: "Nobody knows."

The fact remains that the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday March 15, has been postponed.
