Ben Affleck was on Harvey Weinstein's red list
Harvey Weinstein had drawn up a list of people likely to speak to the press in 2017, when the case that led him to court broke out. And above it was Ben Affleck, as Variety reveals. This “Red Flag List” was one of the elements revealed during the trial during which the producer was convicted of third degree rape and sexual assault and sentenced to 23 years in prison.
A total of 70 names are on this list. In addition to the former Batman interpreter, we find Annabella Sciorra who testified against Harvey Weinstein at the trial, as well as Rose McGowan or a former assistant to the producer. Harvey Weinstein, who has just been sentenced to 23 years in prison, had produced, through his former company Miramax, the film that made Ben Affleck a star and won him an Oscar, Will Hunting .
