"Hypothetically speaking, all the possibilities are really cool," laughs Darío Madrona , co-creator of the youth thriller , talking about restarting the format with a new cast or doing some spin-off on his characters. "Netflix could be feeding on Elite for many years," adds Carlos Montero , the other architect of fiction.
Both acknowledge that this series has changed their lives, although they do not even remotely suffer the fame of the young cast. "Nobody asks us to sign a tit for you at Carrefour," jokes Madrona, who had already worked with kids at Los Protegido . "But starting to receive calls from American producers and representatives was very cool," continues Montero, who is also the architect of Physics or Chemistry . If Esther Expósito could travel back in time and give herself some pre- Elite advice she would simply recommend calm. «I have always wanted to be an actress, but when I was little my parents wouldn't let me because they wanted me to be a girl and have a normal childhood. But I wanted bigger challenges, stronger experiences and to be able to dedicate myself to this fully.
