Sesame seal's “Masuo” is “entering the son-in-law” Kagoshima March 10 at 15:22

The Kagoshima Aquarium in Kagoshima City and the Aquarium in Fukuoka City are working on the breeding of sesame seals. On the 9th, the male Sesame seals bred in Fukuoka City were brought to the Kagoshima Aquarium.

The one who came to the Kagoshima Aquarium was a six-year-old male masuma seal, Masuo, bred at Marine World Uminonakamichi in Fukuoka City.

"MASUO" was born in Marine World and weighs approximately 115 kg. After noon on the 9th, I was transported to Kagoshima by car for four and a half hours. And when he was moved to the aquarium, he was swimming fine.

Kagoshima Aquarium and Marine World are promoting breeding of Sesame seals. This time, "MASUO" who came to Kagoshima is going to become a breeding partner of the female "Gomarin" of Kagoshima Aquarium, which is about two years old.

Also, while the Kagoshima Aquarium accepts "Masao", it has moved an 8-year-old male "Sesame Taro" to Marine World earlier this month.

At the Kagoshima Aquarium, "MASUO" will be open to the public after getting used to the new environment.

Mika Otsuka, who is in charge of breeding seals at the Kagoshima Aquarium, says, "If you have a baby with Gomarin, I want you to see it as well. I want Kagoshima to become a loved seal. "
