The infection was revealed to a male driver in his 60s from a partner company who works at the port office of Sagawa Express in Minato-ku, Nagoya.
According to the announcement, the man had a fever of more than 37 degrees Celsius at the temperature measurement when he came to work on the 7th, so he was tested at a hospital and found to be infected with the new coronavirus on the 8th.
Sagawa Express suspends the duties of the port office where the man works, disinfects the work space and trucks, and instructs employees who may have had close contact inside the company to wait at home. .
This may delay the collection and delivery of the Showa-ku, Mizuho-ku, Minato-ku, and Minami-ku of Nagoya City that the Minato Sales Office had been conducting.
Also, the man was in charge of delivery in Showa-ku, Nagoya City, so Sagawa Express will also investigate whether there are any customers who contacted closely during delivery.
