To do this, the Minister of Health announced that gatherings of more than 1,000 people were prohibited, while specifying that demonstrations, competitions and the use of public transport would not be affected. This threshold was previously set at 5,000 people in confined spaces.

Corsica, particularly affected by the Covid-19, had to announce the closure of schools in Ajaccio in an attempt to stem the epidemic. This provision was also taken in the Oise and in the Haut-Rhin.
