Two more people died in France on Friday after being infected with the coronavirus, bringing the number of deaths to nine, the Health Ministry announced on Friday, adding that 154 new cases of positive patients had been listed compared to Thursday evening.
According to the point released on Friday afternoon, 577 positive cases have been confirmed at this stage since the end of January, and the increase is more and more marked.
"Limit" visits to "seniors"

"The elderly are the most at risk and must be protected," added the ministry. A little earlier, Emmanuel Macron had called for “limiting visits as much as possible” to “seniors” and repeated that “the absolute priority today is to protect the most vulnerable”, during a visit to a retirement home in Paris.
