The oldest Egyptian pyramid, "Djoser", opened its doors to visitors for the first time in 90 years, after a British engineering company rescued the pyramid, which is estimated to be 4,700 years old, with restoration work, according to the British "Daily Mail" website.

The height of the Pyramid of Djoser is 200 feet (60 meters) and is believed to be the first pyramid in Egypt and the oldest building in the world.

It was completely built by the Egyptian architect Imhotep, how much a stone in Saqqara, south of Cairo, and it is believed that King Djoser, founder of the ancient kingdom, was buried there.

But the stone blocks and the supporting block of the structure have weakened over thousands of years, leading to its closure for restoration work.

Visitors can now explore King Djoser's burial chamber for the first time since the 1930s, when it was closed due to safety concerns.
