In a precautionary step, the General Presidency of the Sacred Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque evacuated the courtyard around the Kaaba, and the endeavor between Safa and Marwah throughout the period of suspension of Umrah, so that prayer is only inside the mosque.
Today, many agencies published photos of the courtyard around the Kaaba, which is free from its uninterrupted architecture and visitors around the clock, in a scene that the eyes of the Sacred House, to which the hearts crave, are not accustomed to, and the hearts of millions of Muslims around the world are attached to, even at a distance.
The precautionary step came to prevent the spread of Corona infection, and to the necessity of intensifying cleaning and sterilization work in the Holy Mosque of Mecca, as well as the situation in the Prophet’s Mosque as well.
